Be a part of empowering individuals on their path to wellness as a Wellbeing Specialist.
Schedule: 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday
As a key member of our psychosocial rehabilitation team, the Wellbeing Specialist supports individuals in building skills, confidence, and connection through group and individual wellness programming. This role blends education, community integration, meaningful activities, and supportive interventions to help clients strengthen independence and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate skills-based groups, wellness education, and therapeutic activities that promote independence and personal growth.
- Support clients in developing coping strategies, symptom management skills, and community living abilities.
- Provide advocacy, crisis intervention, outreach, and ongoing support as needed.
- Collaborate with treatment teams, families (when appropriate), and relevant providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Complete required documentation, wellness plans, and records accurately and on time.
- Ensure culturally responsive, compassionate service delivery aligned with organizational mission and policies.
- Safely transport clients to designated activities and community opportunities.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School/GED required- Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- At least four (4) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if a High School/GED is the highest education obtained
- At least two (2) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if an Associate’s degree is the highest education obtained
- At least one (1) year of experience required if a non-human service Bachelor’s degree is the highest education obtained
- All experience must include working with individuals with psychiatric, substance use, and/or developmental disabilities
- Valid driver’s license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60-day introductory period
