Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to outpatient nursing staff and consultation to residential and ACT/ACTAY nurses.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of nursing staff across assigned sites.
- Complete performance development and AIM processes for supervisees, fostering growth and accountability.
- Manage time sheets and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Ensure progress and development toward departmental strategic plan goals.
- Partner with Nursing Administration and HR to ensure adequate staffing based on budgeted FTEs.
- Represent Behavioral Health Nursing in assigned meetings and collaborate with program leaders to coordinate care.
- Plan, organize, and oversee medication clinics, ensuring safe medication administration and compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Perform nursing procedures (venipuncture, urinalysis, waived testing, injections) and ensure proper documentation and infection control practices.
- Support patient education and triage, maintaining accurate records and ensuring continuity of care.
- Serve as a nursing consultant to clinical teams, maintain regulatory and quality data, and uphold CLIA and OSHA standards.
- Maintain current BLS and Instructor Certifications.
