Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes in accordance with safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
• Operate kitchen appliances and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle weight-based food items and ingredients with manual handling techniques to ensure safety and precision
• Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing special dietary needs or requests
• Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations, serving food, and managing guest interactions

Requirements

• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Experience with food handling, serving, and processing cash transactions using POS systems
• Familiarity with culinary techniques, including food preparation and presentation
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and portion control
• Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus
• Experience in catering, banquet service, or dietary aide roles is advantageous
• Ability to handle manual weight loads safely in a busy workplace environment
