Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes in accordance with safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Operate kitchen appliances and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle weight-based food items and ingredients with manual handling techniques to ensure safety and precision
- Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing special dietary needs or requests
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations, serving food, and managing guest interactions
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Experience with food handling, serving, and processing cash transactions using POS systems
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, including food preparation and presentation
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and portion control
- Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or dietary aide roles is advantageous
- Ability to handle manual weight loads safely in a busy workplace environment
