Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial and custodial activities across various facilities, including commercial, industrial, and residential sites
- Develop cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks such as floor care, buffing, trash removal, and restroom sanitation
- Train and mentor janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
- Conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Oversee specialized cleaning projects such as industrial cleaning or detailed floor care procedures
- Collaborate with facility management teams to address maintenance issues related to cleanliness or repairs
- Implement health and safety guidelines to protect staff and occupants while maintaining operational efficiency
- Develops financial forecasts and balance programs and resources for multiple janitorial accounts within the region
- Develops a business plan and budget for the region
- Controls overhead expenses within the region
- Responsible for attainment of financial goals for the region
- Reviews and analyzes financial statements, weekly operating reports, and other financial results
- Recommends and manages capital requirements to maximize financial returns
- Actively involved with sales survey pricing of business
- Monitors future contract financial reviews and updates
- Responsible for productivity and staffing that is appropriate to the regional and divisional goals
- Maintains and supports client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention
- Maintains an active stewardship program at multiple levels within the region
- Administers required client/customer surveys (and other feedback instruments) and responds in a timely and effective manner
- Promotes client awareness of program alternatives and the availability of corporate resources
- Monitors and ensures compliance with the provisions of client contracts
Experience
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices
- Experience managing a large team of cleaning staff in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods for large-scale facilities or equipment maintenance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams and coordinate with other departments

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Five years supervisory experience in janitorial with high customer/client contact required
- Experience managing multiple accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
- Ability to multi-tasks and establish priorities
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
- Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership
- Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
