The primary role is providing support to the Field Accounting team while providing top notch internal customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and park centralized journal entry uploads weekly and at period end
- Produce and park standard accounting entries weekly and at period end
- Distribute SAP reports and other accounting reports weekly and at period end
- Processing and mailing checks daily
- Process Check-on-Demand requests
- Process Closing Book Entries
- Process daily AR uploads into SAP via an Access database
- Track and resolve all Accounts Payable returned checks
- Enter source documents into SAP
- Create period-end entries for various chargebacks
- Review and process errors from In Unit Accounting Systems into SAP
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the management team, as needed
- 2 years experience in a professional office
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel and SAP
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines
- Must be a quick learner and self-motivated
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks independently
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
