Job Summary
The Retail Executive Chef for Bon Appetit Management Company is responsible for the overall success of the retail food service operation adhering to the Clients culture and guidelines, the Health Departments regulations, and Bon Appetit's standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation
In this position, the Retail Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the sanitation and safety of all retail kitchens, while ensuring that all kitchen employees produce delicious, eye-appealing and nutritious food, while meeting client financial budgetary goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
Plans and creates all menus
Purchases and manages inventory
Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary degree preferred
Three to five years of culinary management experience
High volume production and catering experience is essential
Previous experience managing cost controls
Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
