The Mission
At Compass Datacenters, we aren’t just looking for someone to manage software; we are looking for the architect of our "Enterprise Brain." We are evolving from a traditional SaaS-based ERP shop into an agile, AI-first organization. Your mission is to lead the Application teams in building an intelligent orchestration layer that sits on top of our existing tools. You will move us from being a passive consumer of software to an active orchestrator of AI, ensuring our technology strategy delivers exponential efficiency and aligns perfectly with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & AI Roadmap Orchestration
• The AI Pivot: Define and execute the roadmap to transition Compass from passive SaaS consumption to an active AI-orchestration model.
• Exponential Efficiency: Prioritize and deploy AI use cases that drive radical improvements in ERP workflows across Finance, HR, and Supply Chain.
• Modern Standards: Set and evolve IT standards for our core stack—including NetSuite, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)—ensuring every application is managed with an AI-first mindset.
Leadership & Cultural Transformation
• The "Co-Pilot" Model: Act as the primary evangelist for "AI-First" thinking, moving the IT organization from a ticket-taker mindset to a strategic "co-pilot" partnership with business units.
• Agile Mentorship: Mentor and grow the IT team to embrace an agile mindset, fostering a culture of continuous delivery and rapid iteration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Construction, Innovation, Safety, and Finance to optimize processes and implement scalable, intelligent solutions.
Partner Evolution & Risk Management
• Vendor Accountability: Shift vendor management from traditional waterfall models to AI-driven performance metrics, holding partners accountable for their generative AI roadmaps.
• Interoperability: Ensure all external SaaS tools integrate seamlessly with our internal AI stack.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards for service delivery while managing the risks associated with rapid AI transformation.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Proven Experience
• Transformation Architect: You have a track record of leading significant digital transformations. You’ve moved organizations away from "legacy thinking" into modern, automated, or AI-driven environments.
• Ecosystem Expertise: You have deep, hands-on familiarity with enterprise platforms (ideally NetSuite, Procore, or ACC) and understand how to extract value from them beyond their out-of-the-box features.
• AI Implementation: You can demonstrate instances where you have successfully integrated AI or advanced automation into business workflows to solve real-world problems.
• Leadership Performance: You have a history of building high-performing teams, mentoring technical talent, and successfully managing stakeholders at the executive level.
