What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Marketing Representative position at Compass & Crown?
We are currently hiring motivated individuals to join our team in the Greater Charlotte area.
This is a people-focused community outreach and fundraising position where you will work with local businesses and community partners while representing nonprofit organizations and helping raise awareness and support for their causes.
No previous experience is required. We provide hands-on training and coaching to help you learn the position and develop your communication and professional skills.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work directly with people at local businesses and community locations
- Represent nonprofit organizations professionally
- Help create awareness around charitable causes
- Engage with members of the community
- Assist with collecting donations and generating support for nonprofit programs
- Communicate with people from a variety of backgrounds
- Work toward individual and team goals
- Participate in team meetings, training, and development
The position is people-oriented and goal-driven. You will be working directly with the public, so strong communication, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are important.
PAY & OPPORTUNITY
- Brand Ambassador: Average $100–$200/day
- Performance-based compensation
- Paid daily at the Brand Ambassador level
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available

GROWTH & MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT
While the position starts with learning the fundamentals of community outreach and fundraising, there are opportunities for individuals who want to take on more responsibility.
As you develop, you can receive additional training in:
- Leadership

- Organization
- Goal setting
- Coaching and developing others
- Day-to-day team operations
Individuals who qualify can advance into leadership and management opportunities, with potential management compensation of $120,000–$160,000 annually.
There are also opportunities to travel and work in different markets, with housing accommodations available for qualifying travel opportunities.
