Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to provide formulation and analytical support for oligonucleotide based therapeutics across in vitro and in vivo studies. This individual will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure high quality dosing solutions, execute stability testing, support analytical workflows, and contribute to nonclinical and clinical development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, formulate, and quality check dosing solutions for both in vitro and in vivo studies independently and collaboratively.
Conduct formulation stability studies, establishing appropriate storage conditions to ensure drug integrity.
Support formulation strategies across various delivery paradigms for oligonucleotides.
Execute analytical assays, including UV spectroscopy, LC-MS, and osmolality measurements, to support formulation quality and stability.
Perform quantitative data analysis, troubleshoot technical challenges, and recommend corrective actions to maintain high data quality.
Drive innovation by developing new techniques and improving laboratory workflows.
Maintain meticulous documentation, including laboratory notebooks, SOPs, technical reports, and data for regulatory purposes.
Present findings clearly in meetings and contribute actively to team discussions.
Assist in laboratory operations, ensuring equipment readiness, inventory management, and overall lab organization.
Job Requirements
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of oligonucleotide therapeutics, formulation approaches, and stability testing.
Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as UV spectroscopy, LC-MS, and osmolality measurements.
Ability to perform and analyze experiments independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Proven track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with developing and implementing new analytical techniques or emerging technologies.
Familiarity with regulatory documentation and submissions.
Prior exposure to nonclinical or clinical development environments.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
