Academic Req: Required – Bachelor’s degree from accredited program/university;

Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention; Current unrestricted professional license or certification in healthcare, counseling, education, social work, or child welfare

Work experience: Required – At least five (5) years of experience as:

  • The director of a licensed childcare program or a similar program for children and adolescents; or
  • The administrator of a large organization; or
  • At least five (5) years of progressive project management or business management demonstrating advanced levels of growth and success.


Preferred – Progressive experience Full-Time in a fast-paced setting, with an emphasis on project management. Managing multiple projects, working with projects and/or contracts required. Experience with accreditation and large-scale project management.

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:

  • Project Management – Responsible for management of all special project teams and initiatives, as determined and assigned by ADD – Residential Services and Deputy Executive Director – Residential Services, in order to ensure desired outcomes are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Critical Incident Leadership – Ability to respond to any Compass Connections program site or location within 24 hours of assignment to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Data Analysis – Collect and analyze all program data routinely and on demand to include the delivery of a draft version of all quarterly and annual reports. Develop, deploy and maintain database and reporting tools in support of division and agency requirements.
  • Regulatory (accreditation, federal, state, and agency) Liaison – Maintain knowledge of all accrediting agency standards and advise the ADD – Residential Services and Deputy Executive Director – Residential Services of changes for dissemination throughout the division. Conduct random and scheduled site visits and mock surveys, both in- person and remotely, to ensure continued program compliance with current and newly released standards.
  • Asset Management – Ensure all medical clinics have all assets necessary to provide quality services. Ensure, in cooperation with the ADD – Residential Services, that all insurance, lease, A- 133 and fleet information is kept up to date, including an evaluation of current needs, with an emphasis on forecasting equipment needs.
  • Technology Systems – Under the direction of the ADD – Residential Services and Deputy Executive Director – Residential Services, serve as a division information systems specialist. Maintain expert level knowledge of all Compass Connections technology systems, including UAC Portal, Point Click Care, Salesforce, SharePoint, and other electronic records software as needed.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership support and direction for all medical and residential programming in Compass Connections programming.
  • Ensure continued 100% compliance with all accrediting, regulatory and funding agency standards.
  • Assist ADD – Residential Services with designated duties when assigned to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Conduct program visits on a schedule, rotating bases, ensuring completion of medical reports and other action items, as assigned by the ADD – Residential Services and Deputy Executive Director – Residential Services.
  • Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and contract or grant deliverables.
  • 75% travel requirement
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor. Implement Compass Connections systems safety protocols in case of an emergency.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the program operations
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections systems personnel handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.


Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and renewal criminal background checks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
  • Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
  • Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
  • Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
  • Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
