Courtyard by Marriott Cocoa Beach is currently hiring an experienced Front Desk Agent.
Requirements
The Front Desk Agent welcomes guests and ensures their comfort. Essential functions include recognizing and greeting guests, assigning rooms, maintaining availability, and collecting messages and payments. They assist with billing, answer inquiries, secure valuables, and provide security by controlling room keys, verifying cash, making safe drops, and reporting suspicious activity. They also make reservations for restaurants, transportation, and entertainment, and maintain hotel records.
This role has no supervisory responsibilities. It operates in a professional environment with standard office equipment and guest spaces, which may be noisy. Physical demands include standing, reaching, lifting, and bending, with ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity, sensory skills, and following instructions are required.
