Summary
Summary
Telecom Administrator will be responsible for basic Avaya moves, adds, and changes. ServiceNow experience preferred. This person will work closely with internal customers to ensure they have the right access and data to help them be successful.
- Works independently and as a team player to monitor and maintain the Telecom platform
- This includes assisting with internal Incidents and requests, end-user questions, and troubleshooting problems
- Maintains all appropriate documentation in support of Telecom using ServiceNow
- Good understanding of Business Unit issues as they relate to technology
- Performs issue resolution and troubleshoots issues that come into the Service Desk or through team communication channels
- Understands Avaya telephone systems and has a desire to continue to learn new technologies
- Basic understanding of IT standards, processes and best practices
- Remains aware of current initiatives
- Gives logical answers to questions
- Prepares and listens well
- Draws out relevant information and effectively communicates to team
Requirements for this Telecom Engineer job:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years working on Avaya telephone systems
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Analyze complex situations, be solution oriented
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team environments
- Great written/verbal communication and organization skills
