Join our veterinary hospital as a part-time Kennel Attendant and become an essential caregiver for our hospitalized patients! In this hands-on role, you'll provide compassionate, attentive care for pets during their stay with us, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

This position requires 5-hour shifts, Monday - Friday

- Compassionate Caregiving: You'll provide attentive, gentle care to each animal, offering comfort through playtime, and affection while carefully monitoring their wellbeing.
- Immaculate Environment: You'll maintain spotlessly clean kennels, cages, and hospital areas, creating a sanitary, odor-free space that promotes animal health and comfort.
- Genuine passion for animal welfare and pet care
- Physical stamina for cleaning kennels and lifting supplies
- Excellent attention to detail in following care instructions and observing feline behavior
- Strong cleaning skills with a commitment to maintaining sanitary conditions
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and occasionally with pet owners
- Patience and compassion when working with felines that may be stressed or ill
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Facility cleaning/sanitizing experience
- Comfort around animals is required and caretaking experience is a plus
- Experience in a veterinary setting or boarding facility is beneficial but not required
- Competitive Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
