We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver / Home Care Aide to provide in-home support to clients in Maricopa County, we have many areas that we serve within the county so we aim to place you closer to where our own clients live. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, disability support, and medical assistance, ensuring clients receive personalized, respectful, and professional care. Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home health is highly valued. Anyone that's been a CNA, Worked in a Nursing Facility, Pre-Nursing Student, New Grad Nurse, Medical Assistant, Pre-Med, EMT's, Firefighters, healthcare college students, make great caregivers. Experienced caregivers (1 years of experience) are also more than welcome to apply.
Duties:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support .
- Safe transfers & mobility support (gait belt experience is a MUST).
- Assistance with wheelchair, walker, cane, stand by assistance, full immobility assistance.
- Bed-bound care & repositioning.
- Companionship & emotional support.
- Meal prep (that includes nutritional knowledge and dietary restrictions).
- Medication reminders.
- Hospice/end-of-life care (a great plus!).
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Observe and document patient condition, behavior, and progress; communicate updates to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques.
- Assist with hospice or palliative care needs as required.
Skills:
- Proven experience in home health, long-term care, assisted living, or hospice care.
- Strong understanding of dementia, Alzheimer's, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities care.
- Ability to perform CPR and First Aid required.
- Excellent observational skills for patient safety and condition monitoring.
- Compassionate communication skills for working with seniors and individuals with special needs.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely when assisting with transfers or mobility support.
- Experience working with diverse populations including those with disabilities or chronic health conditions.
