What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blending Supervisor position at Compact Industries Inc?
*PURPOSE:
*
Lead, train, coach and support Blending department by handling the day-to-day activities to meet established processing and quality-controlled standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide production schedule and assign tasks for all blending associates.
- Monitor blending and pre-weigh to ensure accuracy and validate wet wash/ sugar wash accuracy. Check for allergen blending requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety protocols.
- Assist in investigations of non-conformances and suggest recommendations for corrective actions.
- Act as Blending Supervisor when that individual is not in attendance.
- Complete Coach observations to ensure processes and procedures are being followed.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Address inefficiencies or deficiencies in the department.
- Complete staffing and end of shift reports.
- Escalate issues or delays as they arise.
- Communicate professionally across different departments and at all levels of the organization.
- Track finished good blends and rework.
- Ensure the next shift is set up with the necessary materials.
- Audit ingredient storage to ensure we are following allergen protocol.
- Prioritize and re-assign tasks when problems arise.
- Participate in physical inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:*
- Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, food processing or blending experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite programs, computers, and tablets.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize and restructure activities as changes arise.
- Walk or stand 80% of the shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to implement change and motivate others.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
