You’ll be instrumental in building integrated baseline schedules and financial forecasts to support national security missions.

- Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance

- Demonstrated experience supporting DOE/NNSA/DOD capital projects
- At least 10 years of experience using Primavera P6 software, including resource loading and performance tracking
- Proficiency with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and tools like Cobra, Empower, and Success

The Lead Business Analyst in Project Controls plays a critical role in ensuring effective planning, cost control, and scheduling for complex and high-visibility government projects. This position provides advanced project control leadership, guiding a team of specialists and ensuring compliance with DOE performance expectations. You’ll be instrumental in building integrated baseline schedules and financial forecasts to support national security missions.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop, implement, and direct project control programs for large-scale projects
- Lead the creation and management of baseline plans, WBS, schedules, and spend plans
- Analyze cost/schedule performance and develop mitigation plans for variances
- Lead and mentor a team of project controls specialists; conduct evaluations and training
- Conduct schedule and cost reviews, present project financials to senior management
- Oversee change control activities including trends and Baseline Change Proposals (BCPs)
- Utilize project controls software including P6, Cobra, Empower, and Success
- Maintain working knowledge of Site Business systems and support system training initiatives
- Travel may be required as approved by procurement
- Education & Experience (one of the following):
- Master’s in Business, Construction Management, Technical, or Engineering 8 years of experience
- Bachelor’s 10 years of experience
- Associate’s 13 years of experience
- High school diploma 17 years of experience
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expert in project controls software (P6, EVMS tools)
- Skilled in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling, and estimating systems
- Security:
- Must be able to obtain a DOE “Q” clearance (active clearance not required at time of hire)
- Prior possession of an active DOE “L” or “Q” clearance within the last 2 years
- Deep experience with EVMS reporting and integration
- Experience in planning and forecast development for capital programs
- Familiarity with Savannah River Site business systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills for team and stakeholder management
