Fellow Software Engineer – PeopleSoft Developer

Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for a PeopleSoft Developer position at the Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC.

Salary: $80/hr - $86/hr

Location: Aiken, SC (100% Remote)

Citizenship: US Citizenship Required

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week (onsite)

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain DOE “Q” clearance required

You will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing mission-critical PeopleSoft applications at the Savannah River Site. Your technical expertise will directly influence the effectiveness and efficiency of finance and HR systems vital to national security operations.

🚫 Mandatory Experience Requirement – Read Before Applying

Candidates Must Have

• Minimum 15 years of experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft software applications, including Finance (GL, Project Costing) and HCM modules (HR, Benefits, Payroll).
• Proficiency with PeopleTools 8.57 or higher, including Application Designer, Integration Broker, Application Engine, and SQR.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance (active clearance not required initially).
  
  

Applications without proven PeopleSoft experience or inability to obtain DOE “Q” clearance will not be considered.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide software development and maintenance for PeopleSoft Finance Supply Chain Management and HCM/HRMS modules.
• Analyze, resolve, and code production support problem tickets.
• Collaborate with IT staff and customers using professional written and verbal communication.
• Mentor SRNS IT staff by sharing expertise and guiding junior team members.
• Comply with SRNS IT standards and protocols.
• Support occasional on-call responsibilities and flexible work schedules for critical operations (e.g., payroll, month/year-end closing).
• Deliver weekly electronic status reports to technical leads.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 15 years of PeopleSoft development and support experience.
• Experience with Finance (GL, Project Costing) and HCM (HR, Benefits, Payroll) modules.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools (PeopleTools 8.57 ).
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and produce quality, maintainable code.
• U.S. citizenship required.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with STAT configuration management tool.
• Familiarity with Ultra Edit text editor.
• Hands-on experience applying PUM images (full/selective adoption).
• Experience supporting Fluid pages in PeopleSoft.
  
  

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 15 years of IT experience, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in non-related field with 20 years of IT experience.
