Comp-Tech Sales is a manufacturers' representative firm supporting leading suppliers in the aerospace, defense, industrial, and high-reliability electronics markets. We represent companies specializing in electronics and electro-mechanical assembly.
We are seeking a motivated and technically oriented Sales Engineer to manage and grow our Long Island territory.
Territory Overview
This role will support customers across Long Island in the following markets: Aerospace and Defense, Industrials and Data Communications, Telecommunications, Medical and Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships
- Call on design engineers, program managers, and supply chain teams
- Provide technical sales support for multiple product lines
- Coordinate meetings between customers and principals
- Track opportunities and provide sales forecasts
- Support customers through design-in and production phases
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Technical Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, or Field Applications Engineer experience
- Engineering background preferred (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or electronics industry preferred
- Experience supporting design engineers and technical programs
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to understand customer requirements and match solutions

- Must be based on or near Long Island
- Ability to travel within territory for customer visits
- Occasional travel for principal meetings and training
