In this role, you’ll be the "glue" of our operations—seamlessly transitioning between the front desk and clinical areas to ensure our patients receive top-tier care for work-related injuries.

Key Responsibilities
Front Office Operations (The Face of the Clinic)
- Patient Concierge: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and ensure all registration data and medical histories are accurate.
- Care Coordination: Schedule appointments, manage the provider calendar, and gather necessary authorizations for treatments or procedures.
- Communication Hub: Handle phone calls, address inquiries, and manage all incoming/outgoing faxes and mail.
- Check-Out: Process patient discharges by scheduling follow-up appointments and ensuring all paperwork is complete.
Back Office Clinical Support (The Heart of Care)
- Patient Prep: Escort patients to exam rooms, record vital signs, and document the reason for the visit in the EHR.
- Clinical Procedures: Assist providers with EKGs, blood draws (phlebotomy), and the administration of medications or injections as directed.
- Treatment Support: Explain medical procedures to patients and assist clinicians during examinations and treatments.
- Clinic Maintenance: Sterilize equipment, stock exam rooms, and maintain a clean, professional environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Medical Assistant Certification/Diploma from an accredited school (Required).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Experience: 1 year of related medical assistant experience is preferred, but we welcome new graduates with strong clinical skills.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Licensing: CPR Certification (Preferred).
