Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and willing to learn Plant Operator to join our team. Here at Como, we run a Re-Refining process that uses Used Oil to create Base Oil. The Plant runs 24/7 and we are looking for someone to join our crew. We operate 4 crews of 2 people and are looking for someone to join one of the crews. All shifts are 12 hours and run from 5 am to 5 pm for day shift or 5 pm to 5 am for night shift. All shifts are 2-man crews so you will always be working with someone. The schedule runs 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, 4 days off. Someone with mechanical and computer skills would be ideal but there will be training on the job so you will learn how the plant runs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure plant operates at an optimal level
- Troubleshoot problems and issues within the plant and be able to diagnose them
- Interpret computer readouts and levels to determine plant efficiency
- Repair and rebuild pumps and pipes when needed
- Conduct routine inspections and walkthroughs of plant and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of plant production and work
- Must be prompt and communicate well with the team
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
