Principal Engineer, Dev: Job Duties: Responsible for key projects in the Windows File system. Develop Commvault Products that run on Windows platforms and deal with the Windows Filesystem. Responsible for delivering strong, scalable code products to market on time. Adapt quickly to changing technical requirements, tools, and development environments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs. Consistently meet project deadlines while maintaining high code quality and performance. Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices to enhance developer efficiency. Develop and support multi- threaded applications within the Windows and Linux environments. Apply advanced C programming skills to design and optimize performance-critical components.
Requirements: Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field) or a closely related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a related IT Professional designing, developing, and supporting software products, within the Windows Filesystem domain or multi-threaded application environments. Additionally, all candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with C . Position is based out of our HQ in Tinton Falls, NJ 07724, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Telecommuting with prior manager approval is permitted. Benefits incl. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), ESPP, bonus & RSU eligibility. Rate of Pay: $189,592.00/year.
