Manager, Development: Job Duties: Manage a team of software developers. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects. Manage multiple software projects simultaneously. Oversee code reviews and enforce adherence to best practices. Manage resolution of technical issues as they arise.
Requirements: Master's or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a software developer tester, engineer, software architect, analyst, or related. Alternatively, we will accept a Bachelor's in the above-stated fields plus 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the above-stated occupations. Additionally, all candidates must possess at least 36 months (3 years) of experience in at least one of the following: Data storage, Database management platforms, user interfaces (UI), Data processing systems workloads, or data security. At least 24 months (2 years) of experience in Java, Web services, databases, and microservices. At least 12 months (1 year) of experience managing the software development lifecycle. A comprehensive background check is required for this role, including education verification, prior employment history, and criminal records. Position is based out of 1 Commvault Way, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.
