Requirements and position responsibilities include:
- Management of land/site development projects, including technical design, quality control, and project management
- Business development activities and assignments concentrated in a specific target area
- Project client interface
- Financial management of projects
- Working with the team to set goals to meet business objectives
- City of Austin and/or Travis County design process experience required
- PE in Texas
- BS in Civil Engineering (MS a plus)
- 3-6 years of relevant project experience
- Experience managing civil/site development projects
- Experience leading the civil design efforts for public works or site development projects
- Sound technical design background
- Excellent communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of local and U.S. design codes and standards
- Related local experience preferred
