CYN Counseling Center is a non-profit, community-based counseling agency that offers therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and community education to people of all ages. CYN just celebrated 40 years of service in the community and enjoys a solid reputation with area stakeholders. We pride ourselves on the integrity of service we provide to our clients as well as the growth opportunities we offer our clinicians. CYN also boasts an 85% improvement rate for clients who avail themselves to therapy.
CYN is growing in capacity; both in programs and number of staff.
We are currently seeking a Bachelor's level Crisis Worker, overnight who will be available to handle crisis situations for runaway, locked out, or homeless youth. The ideal candidate will have a human services background, have good client engagement skills, be effective at crisis intervention, work well independently as well as with a team, and be reliable.
Coverage is on a rotating basis with possible hours being:
5 pm - 9 am, Monday through Thursday;
5 pm Friday - 9 am Monday morning; and all holidays.
Our crisis workers are well compensated and an important part of our team as often times this is the best time to engage clients in therapeutic work.
Salary : $40 - $85
