What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Assistant position at Community YMCA?
The YMCA is seeking a Toddler Assistant for our Early Learning Center.
Our program is located at 148 Hamilton Ave, White Plains, NY 10601
- Shift time: Monday through Friday;
- Salaries begin at $16.00 per hour and are based on experience.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Interacting with children daily; encouraging child's interaction within the program and with other children.
- Assist and participate in all program activities.
- Ensure children have a positive, fun, safe experience at the program.
- Maintain proper supervision of children meeting NYS OCFS ratio regulations.
- Uphold the overall health and safety of each child enrolled in the program.
Education & Skills Required :
- Minimum 2 years child care experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschoolers
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
