Community Workforce Solutions is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our Pathways Adult Day Program as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). What You'll Do
- Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe, positive, and engaging environment
- Lead meaningful activities that promote independence, socialization, and personal growth
- Assist participants in working toward individual goals
- Provide support in both one-on-one and group settings
- Maintain accurate daily documentation
- Transport participants safely in a 12-15 passenger van as needed
- A caring, patient, and dependable individual who enjoys working with people
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 10-25 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and remain active throughout the day
