Role Description This full-time Wholesale Account Executive role is a hybrid position based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Wholesale Account Executive will manage and grow relationships with mortgage brokers and other partners, promoting wholesale lending products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing new business, conducting sales calls and presentations, providing exceptional customer service, and guiding partners through loan scenarios and product options. The role also involves coordinating with underwriting and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate loan decisions, monitoring the pipeline, and resolving issues that may arise during the lending process. The Wholesale Account Executive will stay current on industry guidelines, company policies, and market trends to offer informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service abilities and the capacity to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of Wholesale Lending and Wholesale mortgage products, including processes, guidelines, and partner expectations.
- Familiarity with Underwriting concepts and the ability to collaborate with underwriting teams on loan files and conditions.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing in a mortgage or financial services environment.
- Experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in wholesale or correspondent lending.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex lending concepts clearly.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and loan files simultaneously.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, loan origination platforms, and standard office software.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in-office in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and remotely as needed.
- Relevant education or training in business, finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
