Role Description
This role sits between Human Resources and program operations, helping ensure direct support staff are thoughtfully hired, effectively onboarded, and consistently supervised—especially during onboarding and transition periods when expectations are set and performance matters most.

As the HR Program Coordinator, you’ll work closely with program leaders and HR to support both staff success and service continuity among the people we support.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience delivering person-centered supports for people with disabilities
- 1 years of proven success in a supervisory role (performance management, scheduling, coaching & disciplinary oversight). Duration of experience is less important than demonstrated knowledge and application of supervisory techniques.
- Solid understanding of HR practices and employment law/policy, including documentation standards and compliance
- Strong communication and follow-through — staff and managers trust you quickly
- Able to balance accountability with support and navigate difficult conversations confidently
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, unpredictable environments
- Valid OR driver's license, reliable insured transportation, and ability to travel throughout the Portland Metro Area
- Must pass an Oregon DHS Criminal History Background Check (no OIG exclusions)
- CPR/First Aid and OIS Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
