What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Empowerment Program Manager position at Community Uplift Partnership (CUP)?
Community Uplift Partnership (CUP) is a Colorado faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping young adults ages 16–24 overcome life hurdles through education & connection.
Position Overview:
The Youth Empowerment Program Manager leads and teaches CUP's Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), delivering multiple 12-week class sessions each year for young adults ages 16–24. This role blends classroom teaching, curriculum development, relationship-building, and program administration to support students as they launch into adulthood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and facilitate YEP classes for ages 16–24 (multiple 12-week sessions annually) evenings (Currently on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8pm)
- Develop and adapt relevant curriculum for today's young adults
- Build relationships with guest speakers and community partners
- Track student outcomes, collect data, and support grant reporting
- Uphold CUP's mission and faith-based values in all programming
- Be a part of our non profit Coffee House, by taking a barista shift and working alongside students in the stores as well as leading the YEP program in the evenings.
- Grow CUP's YEP program to successfully reach more students than ever in Adams Co and surrounding counties.
- Help as many students as possible launch into adulthood with success.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth or young adults (teaching, mentoring, or classroom settings preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable with administrative work, data tracking, and reporting
- Collaborative, compassionate, and mission-aligned
- Proficient with basic computer programs (Google Docs, Word, Excel)
Schedule:
- Full-time salaried position
- Two evenings teaching 12-week sessions (2–3 sessions per location per year) - Currently Monday and Wednesday evening.
- During class in session it will be a mix of days and evenings. This position will work out of Reunion Coffee House at 10601 Reunion Pkwy Commerce City Co and Greyhound Ground Coffee House 6230 Glencoe St. Commerce City, Co
- When class is not in session you will work 5 days in the coffee houses.
- Some Saturdays will be needed
- Off on Sundays.
