- Attends all Marching Band rehearsals and performances in August, September, October, and November
- Creates warm-ups and additional music as needed to help with student learning
- Discusses rehearsal plans with other marching instructors
- Repairs any percussion equipment as needed
- Oversees percussion auditions and rehearsals that take place in April and May
