7:00 am - 3:00 pm, five days/week

Salary Grade C2. Starting hourly rate 2026-2027 - $18.49
Responsibilities Include
Under the direct supervision of the Asst. High School Principal of Athletics, this position provides administrative and secretarial support for the school and public being served.

Responsibilities Include
- Prepare and file written materials (i.e., schedules, reports, memos, letters, etc.)
- Greet individuals and answer phone calls for Athletic Dept., responding to inquiries
- Maintain record keeping for IHSA eligibility, academic eligibility, health examinations of students
- Coordinate transportation for all sports
- Maintain records on all awards (academic, conference, etc.)
- Prepare contracts for officials and games for all sports.
- Order all entry fees
- Prepare and distribute sport schedules and rosters
- Record and maintain scores for all sports
- Work with department budget - purchase orders; payment for officials, extracurricular work, buses, mileage reimbursement
- Receive and record all data for the summer recreation program
- Order supplies
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Proficiency with keyboard and Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Knowledge of Athletics 2000, and Synergy a plus
