Weekend Supervisor (PT) - Fluency in American Sign Language
POSITION: Weekend Supervisor.
STATUS: Part-Time Regular (30-40 hours/week).
WHO IS A WEEKEND SUPERVISOR?
Responsible for overseeing all programs including Residential and Personal Supports for adults with IDD (Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities), who are Deaf or Deaf-Blind from Friday 5 pm to Monday 9 am (24-hour availability-Specific on-site hours). Must be available at all times to support Individuals and Staff on duty. Will communicate daily with the Director and during emergencies/crises that might arise. Must be caring, and patient and have excellent communication skills. CSSD, Inc. is a non-profit Agency.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Excellent time management skills, problem-solving skills, well organized, team player, positive and friendly attitude, patient and respectful.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Annual physical and annual flu vaccinations are required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, or High School Diploma with 3 years relevant experience.
- Valid MD Driver’s License with 2 points or less.
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

WORK HOURS:
- Must be available to cover programming from 5 pm Friday to 9 am Monday.
- The physical on-site start time is 4p on Friday, then 8 hours on-site on Saturday & Sunday, and the on-site start time on Monday is 9:30a for meetings.
- Must be flexible all hours for emergencies, appointments, and events.
- Work based in the Baltimore Metro area.
