Responsibilities
Loan origination and underwriting within established guidelines for all loan types offered by the credit union, utilizing credit union adopted systems, software, and efficiencies. Maintain accurate records and reports on activities, and sales as requested.
Research and cultivate new opportunities in target markets. Respond to referrals, both internal and external, in a timely and professional manner. Present and promote credit union services and products to prospective members, demonstrate a positive attitude, and promote a team approach to member service and member relationships.
Understand, adopt, and adhere to organizational goals, policies, procedures, and guidelines as the needs of the organization change. Assist members with their financial needs by guiding them through the loan process and acting as their financial partner, advising, recommending, cross-selling, and selecting products and services that best fit their needs and contribute to the overall goals of the credit union, positioning members and the credit union for success.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience - Credit Union experience preferred but not required.
A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
