LOCATION: Dublin, Georgia
The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Grant Compliance Specialist. The selected candidate will be a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. This is a very busy environment and requires superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities. This position reports to the Deputy Director of Clinical Operations.
Responsibilities of the Compliance Director:
- Review and provide feedback on all compliance-related sections of grant applications and renewals within five business days of receipt to ensure alignment with funding requirements
- Compile and submit grant data reports to Deputy Director of Clinical Operations, monthly or as requested
- Prepare and submit grant invoices within instructed time of fund utilization, ensuring 100% accuracy and proper documentation
- Monitor fidelity reporting monthly, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, document and address deficiencies within allotted deadline
- Conduct monthly audits of programmatic documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with grant standards
- Maintain up-to-date and audit-ready grant files, including contracts, amendments, correspondence, and supporting documentation, with all documents filed within required deadline
- Collaborate with finance and program staff monthly to verify proper use of funds and ensure expenditures remain within approved budget variances
- Identify and document compliance risks or discrepancies upon discovery, and recommend corrective actions with implementation follow-ups
- Review and update grant-related policies and procedures annually (or as regulations change) to ensure alignment with current requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of grant regulations and best practices by completing at least 2 professional development activities annually
- Prepare and submit required financial, programmatic, and compliance reports by funding deadlines, with zero late submissions
- Track grant deliverables, expenditures, and performance outcomes using a centralized system, updating data to ensure real-time accuracy
- Monitor grant-funded programs quarterly to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and agency regulations
- Review all grant agreements and contracts upon receipt to identify compliance requirements and establish internal tracking deadlines
- Support external audits, site visits, and monitor reviews by preparing requested documentation and always ensuring full audit readiness
- Assist in developing and enforcing internal compliance policies, with annual review and documented staff acknowledgment
- Serve as the primary liaison with funding entities, responding to compliance-related inquiries within appropriate manner.
- Provide formal trainings and ongoing technical assistance to staff, ensuring staff participation and satisfaction
- All other duties as assigned

- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly
Here’s what would put you over the top:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–4 years of experience in administrative support, program coordination, compliance, grants, or reporting environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Experience working with data tracking, reporting, or recordkeeping systems
