What are the responsibilities and job description for the 25-26 Afterschool Program - PT High School Helper - (EAST) position at COMMUNITY SCHOOLS?
Job Goal: Somerville Community Schools Program provides after school and out of school time care in Somerville Public Schools. We operate after school programs from dismissal until 5:30 pm including early release days: full day programs during school vacation weeks and the summer. It is our mission to provide high quality, affordable after school care to students the opportunity to develop and grown in a comfortable, safe and enriching environment.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of the Lead Teacher/Enrichment or Assistant Teacher/Assistant Enrichment Teacher.
- Assist in leading small and large group activities
- Assist in maintaining a relaxed, supportive atmosphere in the classroom
- Assist in maintaining classroom environment including daily set up and clean up
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Current Somerville High School Student / Working Permit
