Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher

Community School of Naples (CSN) is currently seeking a talented, collaborative, and motivated Spanish teacher to join our World Language Department. This position includes teaching both Middle School and Upper School Spanish. The role offers the opportunity to work in a proficiency-based environment where student-centered communication is developed through a well-articulated curriculum that incorporates both communicative and traditional instructional practices.

Teaching responsibilities will include five sections of Spanish (Middle School and/or Upper School). Additional responsibilities include serving as an advisor to a group of students and actively participating in and coordinating Conferencia.

Compensation And Benefits

This appointment is for the 2026-27 academic year, starting with orientation on August 10, 2026, and is paid on an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and qualifications. Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in written and spoken Spanish.
• A bachelor’s degree in Spanish (master’s degree preferred), with a strong academic background.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching all levels of Spanish, with AP Spanish Language and Culture experience.
• Comfortable using upcoming technologies in World Language.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and to effective, research-based instructional practices, including the use of authentic resources, purposeful lesson design, contextualized grammar and vocabulary instruction and student reflection, among others to support language growth.
