Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

- A compassionate heart for people

- Passing a criminal record check including fingerprinting

- Passing a Child Abuse Registry Check

- Passing an Adult Maltreatment Central Registry Check

- Passing a Pre-Employment Drug Screen

- Strong communication and ability to interpret behaviors and non-verbal cues.

Required:

-A High School Diploma or equivalent

-Must have reliable transportation with current auto insurance

-Must be able to pass all background checks

-Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing

Duties

- Assist individuals

- Provide emotional support and companionship to individual

- Implement care plans and ensure individual needs are met

- Engage individuals in social activities and community outings

- Experience in direct support or related field

- Knowledge of care plans and social work practices

- Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting or running

Duties and responsibilities vary according to the exact job assignment.

Over Nights are a must. Can work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
