Commercial Banking Portfolio Officer – Northfield

Primary Functions:

This position is located at our Northfield, MN location and is responsible for providing relationship support to the Commercial/Ag Business Lenders. This will include facilitating the initiation and servicing of commercial credit and banking relationships to ensure adequate credit records are maintained for the Commercial/Ag Loan Department. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Partner with commercial banking officers to maintain the office’s commercial loan portfolio, including credit quality, credit approval process, operations process and the profitability of the subject loan portfolio
• Assist commercial bankers with gathering data for new lending requests
• Assist with ordering of services from outside vendors; such as title insurance, appraisals, flood certifications, etc.
• Provide portfolio assistance by managing ticklers, complete documentation requests and, as needed, provide pre-closing documentation review and closing loans
• Meet with customers to collect financial statements and discuss borrower information
• Open and manage deposit accounts for commercial/ag loan customers and related needs
• Assist in compiling financial information and complete annual reviews on participations purchased
• Document credit files as appropriate

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Similar Preferred

2 Years of Previous Banking/Finance Experience Preferred

This is a full-time position; Monday – Friday.
