The Children’s Community Head Start B-5 Program is looking for a Full Time Bilingual Family Advocate in our Port Jefferson location, to support parents in their role as primary caretakers and educators of their children. Job responsibilities are tasks related to eligibility, recruitment, selection, attendance, enrollment, Family Engagement, Community Resource sharing and family goal setting. Paid time off and medical/dental benefits are available after 3 months. Full year position.
Minimum Requirement: Family Development Credential or Associates Degree in Community/Human Services or related field. Experience in community work and outreach activities a plus. Bilingual Spanish/English
