Position Summary
Community Preschools is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and flexible Floater Teacher to join our team at our Scott Campus (CPL). The Floater Teacher supports multiple classrooms by implementing developmentally appropriate activities, assisting with lesson delivery, supervising children, and maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment.
This position plays an essential role in ensuring continuity of care by providing classroom support whenever needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to helping every child thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers across classrooms as needed.
- Implement classroom activities and assist with circle time and daily routines.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families.
- Assist with lesson planning, classroom documentation, assessments, and parent communication when appropriate.
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Perform classroom organization and cleaning duties following licensing requirements.
- Support the teaching team with administrative tasks such as organizing classroom materials, maintaining documentation, and using digital platforms when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using computers and technology for daily tasks, communication, and documentation.
- Ability to learn and use digital platforms for classroom management and administrative responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, flexible, proactive, and willing to support wherever needed.
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
