Lead Veterinarian (DVM) — Independently Owned Veterinary Hospital
Community Pet Outreach ~ Pet Health Hub
Lewisville / Flower Mound, Texas
Full-Time | $160,000–$200,000 Base Salary Production Incentives
Lead the Team. Practice Great Medicine. Make a Difference.
Are you an experienced veterinarian ready to take the next step in your career without giving up what you love most—practicing medicine?
We're an independently owned, full-service veterinary hospital serving Lewisville, Flower Mound, and the surrounding communities.
We're seeking a Lead Veterinarian who thrives in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys mentoring fellow veterinarians, and believes in empowering a strong veterinary support team.
Our hospital offers the opportunity to practice a wide range of medicine, take on meaningful clinical leadership responsibilities, and have a real voice in how patient care is delivered.
We're not a corporate veterinary chain. We believe veterinarians deserve clinical independence, strong technician support, and the ability to make a meaningful impact without unnecessary corporate bureaucracy.
Why Join Pet Health Hub? Veterinarian-Focused, Technician-Supported Medicine
We believe doctors should focus on diagnosing, treating, performing procedures, and making clinical decisions—not handling every task in the hospital.
Our goal is to empower trained veterinary technicians and assistants to work to the fullest extent of their appropriate responsibilities, allowing doctors to focus on practicing medicine.
High-Volume, Fast-Paced, and Rewarding
We're a busy hospital with a diverse caseload ranging from preventive care and routine medicine to more complex medical and urgent-care cases.
We want veterinarians who enjoy staying engaged, managing a productive schedule, and working alongside a capable team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
Clinical Leadership Without Corporate Bureaucracy
Help establish clinical workflows, mentor other doctors, improve patient care, and support the medical team—all while maintaining an active clinical schedule.
Comprehensive Veterinary Services
Our services include:
- Wellness and preventive medicine
- Primary and urgent care
- In-house and reference laboratory diagnostics
- Digital imaging and diagnostic services
- Surgery and dentistry
- Additional treatment and therapeutic options
Modern Technology and Efficient Workflows
We utilize ezyVet and are expanding technology-assisted documentation and clinical workflows designed to improve efficiency, reduce unnecessary administrative work, and support our veterinarians.
Independent Ownership and Continued Investment
Work directly with local leadership where your experience, opinions, and ideas matter.
We're also planning exterior renovations and facility improvements as part of our continued investment in the hospital and the experience we provide to clients, patients, and our team.
Your Role
- Provide excellent medical care to small-animal patients
- Lead by example while maintaining an active clinical schedule
- Mentor and support associate and relief veterinarians
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Help improve medical protocols, case management, and patient outcomes
- Promote consistent medical documentation and continuity of care
- Help maintain an efficient, positive, and productive clinical environment
- Participate in clinical team development and veterinarian recruiting
What We're Looking For
- DVM with an active Texas veterinary license
- Several years of small-animal clinical experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic, medical, and communication skills
- Comfortable managing general-practice and urgent-care cases
- Enjoys and thrives in a busy, high-volume veterinary hospital
- Values teamwork and appropriate delegation to veterinary technicians
- Collaborative leadership style
- Interest in mentoring other veterinarians and supporting team development
- Surgical and dental experience is a plus
Prior leadership experience is preferred but not required for an exceptional candidate ready to grow into a leadership position.

- Base salary: $160,000–$200,000, depending on experience and qualifications
- Additional production-based compensation
- Full-time position with scheduling flexibility
