Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the foundation of our current and new client communication. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks to keep our office running smoothly, largely managing phone calls and emails, schedules, and some smaller tasks such as maintaining office supplies. A friendly demeanor and excellent organizational skills will ensure that our clients and team feel supported and valued.

• Answering new and current client phone calls
• Clearly communicate and set proper expectations for service offerings to clients
• Schedule new and existing client appointments
• Manage incoming text messages, web inquiry forms and emails
• Manage daily scheduling needs of technicians
• Manage recurring client services
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Work closely with office team to maintain schedule optimization for all technicians 
• Maintaining a clean and organized workplace 
• Maintain accurate and updated notes in our customer relationship management tracking system

• Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role
• Proficient in use of Google Workspace (excel, word, google drive)
• Ability to multitask and see the larger picture
• Excellent at communication, both written and verbal
• Helpful but not required: familiar with the Washtenaw County area 
• No pest control experience necessary

Compensation & Benefits

• $26 hour
• 72 hours of PTO / sick time per year

Working Hours & Location

• Monday through Friday
• Shifts are scheduled either 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm
• This position is located on site at our main office which is located on Jackson Ave, just past Menards in Ann Arbor, MI.
