Responsibilities:
- Receive and process specimens in a laboratory setting
- Accurately enter patient and specimen information into the laboratory information system
- Prepare specimens for testing by labeling and organizing them appropriately
- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen handling and processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
