Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory procedures and tests
- Assist with laboratory management tasks, including inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Collect and process samples from patients
- Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen collection and handling
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff
