Community Partners is seeking a Director of Clinical Services for our Division of Substance Use Disorders. The Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for providing supervision to all SENHS clinical staff as well as program oversight and direction. The Clinical Director is responsible for the oversight of all the clinical programs' implementation and changes. The Clinical Director will work directly with the President/ CEO, Director of Adult Services, Director of Clinical Programming, and Resource Center Director to ensure policies and procedures are followed, ands reporting requirements are met with all funding agencies.

Specific Responsibilities Will Include

  • Oversees the success of SENHS clinical department personnel; hires, trains, supervises, mentors, disciplines, evaluates and oversees separation from the organization.
  • Assures financial viability of programs by developing and managing the program budget in coordination with the Finance Department.
  • Directs supervision of agency clinical programs.
  • Maintains working knowledge of multiple insurance carriers, etc.
  • Oversees compliance with medical records documentation.
  • Maintains collaborative working relationships with other community organizations, service providers, and agencies.
  • Provides 24/7 on-call support for Turning Point staff.
  • Knowledge of HIPPA, 42CFR Part 2, and other rules and regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates a professional approach towards clients, staff and referral sources.
  • Attends meetings, trainings, and events as assigned.
  • Performs tasks, projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years related clinical experience; supervision and management experience required.
  • NH Master Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (MLADC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Individual Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Dual Licensure preferred.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, organizational, communication, and planning skills required
  • Significant experience and familiarity with 12-step philosophy as well as other peer led community treatment programs.
  • Knowledge of applicable Evidence Based Practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise sound independent judgment and discretion in the performance of duties
  • Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of adequate automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements

  • Physically and mentally capable of performing multiple tasks under stressful situations.
  • Able to respond appropriately in crisis situations with clients.
  • Must be capable of recording and consuming data electronically.
  • Able to stand, stretch, bend, walk, lift and transport a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Physically able to drive.
  • Able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of adequate vehicle liability coverage, and reliable transportation.
