What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Support Specialist position at Community Options Individual and Family Services?
Part time to full time Family Support Specialist needed for a human service provider in Omaha. Responsibilities include providing in home support for parents and teens on things such as appropriate behavior, parenting skills and household management, securing employment, setting up community resources, and providing crisis intervention as needed. This position is primarily an afternoon/ evening shift with one weekend day but is flexible to meet the needs of the families.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in human services, social work, or psychology plus two years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with four years experience working with children/teens and families.
