Seed Analyst
Pennington Seed/Central Garden & Pet Company is a leader in the lawn care industry. We are seeking an individual with an RST Certification or someone willing to become RST Certified through various types of schooling and training.
Shift Details
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Greenfield, MO
- Cross training for the ability to perform varied tasks associated with seed testing.
- Purity and noxious seed analysis.
- TZ testing.
- Germination evaluation.
- Fluorescence test for ryegrass.
- Vacuum germination planting.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
- RST, Registered Seed Technologist preferred, but not required.
- Seed or Plant Science background preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work with magnification, tweezers, and various lab equipment pertaining to seed testing.
- Work flexible hours as needed.
- This position requires working closely with other lab personnel and the ability to maintain respect for co-workers.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Full-time position in a manufacturing environment.
