Job Coach Location: Princeton, NJ, United States Date Posted: Sep 18, 2025 Description Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are seeking a Full Time Job Coach to support operations in Mercer County, NJ to supervise and train individuals with developmental disabilities on how to acquire the skills needed to perform specific tasks, work routine, and personal life activities that are critical to successful employment. The starting pay is $18.00 per hour! Responsibilities Provide the necessary assistance to the individuals in order for the consumer to be placed in competitive employment and maintain employment Teach the individuals independent job skills, requirements utilizing job task analysis, job specific supports, including assistive technology and personal assistance Assist individuals in reinforcing essential skills, or teaching new skills in developing a resume, conducting a successful job interview, and completing a job application Work side-by-side with individuals at the job site, analyzing the job requirements and breaking it into manageable components that can be taught to the consumer Attend conferences, seminars, and training as needed Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED Two years’ full-time work experience in employment or related field Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record Knowledge of employer expectations and local job market Ability to effectively and professionally communicate/interact with people at a variety of levels, both internally and externally Ability to present ideas and factual data in a clear concise manner Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with consumers Ability to read and write English Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing Why Community Options?
