This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.
We are looking for someone in the Amarillo, TX area!
We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
- Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
- Must be open to supervisory visits in your home
Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
