This person will ensure staff are trained in the appropriate use and documentation of finances for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.
Starting pay is $45,000/per year

Responsibilities
- Maintainfinancial information and expenditures for each location including the use of petty cash, gas, and grocery card accounts
- Provide training on the finances of individuals in our care, including proper safeguarding of funds, appropriate expenditures, and required documentation
- Collect and document expenditure receipts for all locations in a timely manner
- Submit receipts and expenditure reports monthly to the National office
- Maintain information for all company vehicles including registrations and vehicle maintenance records
- Review and processes vehicle maintenance requests and maintain records
- Audit relevant accounts when an employee with financial responsibility terminates employment
- Troubleshoot issues pertaining to accounts payable, petty cash, and cash disbursements
- Provide technical assistance to the local offices related to budgetary matters
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
- Highschool diploma or GED with three years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suites
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
